STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CIRCLE EPIDEMIOLOGICAL RESEARCH

On January 19, 2022, was established and entered in the University Register of Student Scientific Circles at UWM. The supervisor is Dr Karolina Osowiecka, PhD.

Aims and objectives

The aim of the scientific circle is to gain knowledge in the subject of planning and conducting epidemiological studies. The club's activities include independent epidemiological research, mainly in the field of oncology. Students will acquire the appropriate skills to conduct the study including data collection, data analysis, writing a draft and preparing a manuscript for a journal. The results of the research will be presented at student and medical scientific conferences and published in scientific journals.
